As you know, the last year has been very challenging. Although we moved to an online format to keep our program accessible, many of our families were heavily impacted by the pandemic and could not afford to pay for their classes. Despite all of the challenges, last summer we provided over 65 children with a free online summer camp. We survived last year because of donors like you.
I have often wondered if we should close our business or weather the challenges brought on by the pandemic. However, when we receive notes of gratitude from our parents and students (as well as keeping our teachers employed), I know that pushing through this is the right thing to do.
This year, we will participate in the Midlands Gives campaign so we can offer a “free” summer program for families to participate - no matter what their current financial situation may be. Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 to cover the cost of our teachers’ salaries and activities kits for each child.
Please consider making a tax-deductible gift to make this possible (no gift is too small).
Along with our students, teachers, and financially impacted parents – we are grateful for all that you do to help us – and them – through this difficult time.
With sincere appreciation,
